Kitchen Revamp

Do you have an old solid wood or melamine kitchen that is still in a good condition, and you are happy with the layout, but would like a new, more modern look? We can transform your old kitchen cupboards to look brand new.

Over the past 15 years we have given many old outdated kitchens a new lease on life, by cleaning it, sanding and preparing with primer, and giving it a flawless hand painted plain or paint effect finish, in various colours of our clients choosing. We have had stunning results, and the client has always been thrilled with the finished product.

Older, bespoke kitchens are the ideal candidates for our services. They are normally well made and solid, but we will check all doors and drawers to make sure that they open and close properly. If the old hinges and runners need replacing, we can do that. We can also fill up the old handle holes if you would like to add new handles to your kitchen.

We know that it is a major decision to hand over your kitchen to painters, but you can rest assured knowing that our team of painters are qualified and trustworthy, and have been with our company for many years. We offer a professional, reliable service, to make sure that the project is completed in the shortest time possible, and to the client’s satisfaction.

We have completed hundreds of projects throughout the years, and our clients have always been more than happy with their decision to have their old kitchens painted by us.

Below are a few examples of completed projects, where we have given old wooden kitchens a new, hand painted finish:

Giving you peace of mind

We know that it can be a great worry to our clients when deciding on taking a major step like this, and we do everything we can to ease your concerns.

Solid, practical advice.

We will go out of our way to assure that you make the right choice. We will never recommend a products or finish if we are not certain that it is the right thing for you. There are painters who will use any paint the client requests, or use a cheaper alternative, but we will advise you differently if we feel that it is not the right product to use. We always prefer using trusted products that we have found gives the best finish and long lasting result.

Expert Colour and Decor Advice.

Having worked as an Interior Decorator for many years, prior to starting this company, I feel that I can offer my clients sound advice when choosing colours that will complement their interior. Whether you want to use complimentary colours in your kitchen, which tones in with your existing home and furnishing colour scheme, or you want to add contrast and interest to the scheme, I will assist you in making the right choice.

No Hidden Surprises

We will give you a written Quotation on completing the project, which includes all materials and transport costs. Once you have accepted the quote, that is the final price you pay. No additional charges or extras afterwards.

Prompt and Punctual Service

We work according to your schedule, and will arrive on time, unless anything beyond our control occurs. We will confirm a date for us to start work on the project once you have accepted the quotation, and we stick to the schedule. We normally have a 3 – 4 week waiting period, so will book you in on the earliest available opening.

Our team has been working for us for the past 15 years, and we have never had any complaints from clients. We can assure you that you can leave our painters in your home with peace of mind.

Cost Effective

When comparing the price of a newly fitted kitchen to a refurbished hand painted kitchen, the saving is enormous. An average sized kitchen will cost between R10 000 and R15 000 for a hand painted finish, whereas you can expect to pay anything up to R80 000 for the same size newly installed kitchen.

Minimal Disruption Compared to a New Installation

Installing a new kitchen can cause a major disruption to your home and family. It normally takes a couple of weeks for a kitchen company to remove the old cupboards, build new cupboards and install. It can take anything from 4 – 6 weeks without a kitchen. On the other hand, if you have your old kitchen refurbished and painted, it will only take at most 2 weeks from start to finish. During this time you can also still use your kitchen, as we will remove the doors from site, and bring them back once they are completed. We will then paint the carcass on site, which takes between 2 and 4 days depending on size of kitchen. When the paint is dry, we hang the doors. This assures that you will have the least amount of disruption to your normal routine.
